Tens or Better video poker doesn’t have much difference with Jacks or Better, but it also may have different payouts table so the strategy is also a bit different. For this strategy expected return is calculated as 99.48% and about 0.08% is left for player’s mistakes. Here are the rules:
- a. If you were dealt two suited cards of high value – keep it and draw other three cards.
- b. Four offsuited cards of high value – you may keep three cards which are suited, and draw offsuited. Or just keep them all to get Straight.
- c. Three offsuited cards of high value – just keep them all.
- d. If you’ve got two unsuited cards of high value – also keep them, and draw three other cards.
- e. Any one single card of high values should be kept, and other four cards should be drawn.
Very simple strategy to follow, but it will help you to maximize your winning, and you’ll be able to play much longer than you expected.
