This blackjack calculator is a return and variance calculator. It will include every function of standard calculations plus estimate of hours to play. This calculator only supports blackjack at this time.
The software pulldown selection and player speed input are use to estimate the play rate. You can change this estimate by changing input field for hands per hour from the value of the default. The speed estimates of the software are based on this table and the values in it. These are the values used if you choose “maximum” for the player speed. Choosing “High” for the player speed estimates that your highest play rate is 900 hands an hour. Choosing “Medium” for the player speed estimates that your highest play rate is 600 hands an hour. Choosing “Low” for the player speed estimates that your highest play rate is 300 hands an hour.
The input for hands per hour means that a one player plays against one dealer. The Hand : Delay Ration is used in a multiple hand to adjust the play rate estimates. It can only been seen when more than 1 is selected for multiple hands. This ratio is based on how long on players’ hand takes and the common delay when waiting for all hands and the dealer and waiting on the next hand that is to be dealt. Using a value that is lower will make this ratio more useful. You can see the example found in the multi-hand section. The ratio is 2.7/1.6 = 1.7. Changing the default value can modify this and give you more exact estimates.
